Alan Bradley Schmidt

Alan Bradley Schmidt, 54, passed away June 13, 2011. Son of Daniel (Bob) and Mary Schmidt, Alan was born July 28, 1956, in Akron, Ohio. Alan was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Schmidt.
Alan graduated from Hudson High School in 1974 and attended Kent State and Ohio Universities.
Survivors include Mother Mary E. Schmidt of Naples, FL; broth-er, Robert S. Schmidt (Lauren) of Bothell, Washington; sister, Carol W. (Steven) Johnson of Thousand Oaks, California; nieces Andrea Schmidt and Marianna Johnson; nephew, Gregory Johnson.
A special thank you to friend Karen Curlis, cousin Pat Bissell and her family for the special support they provided Alan through-out the many challenges he faced in life.
Alan loved his friends and family, and cherished the bits of tra-vel and adventure that he enjoyed. He will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 AM, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
