Albert "Al" Connelly
Al Connelly, 82, of Uniontown, passed away January 16, 2006. Al served in the U.S. Coast Guard and later retired from CTS Inc. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. Al was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mayme; sons, Dennis (Cathy) and Timothy (Lori); granddaughters, Sara and Megan; great-granddaughter, McKenzy; sisters-in-law, Grace Connelly, Shirley (Otto) Sziva, and Jo Simonetti; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with calling hours from 5 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be made to www.newcomerfamily.com
