Albert W. Eshbaugh, "Al", age 73 of Akron, Ohio, died on December 12, 2021 at Akron General Hospital.
Al was born on September 1, 1948 in Akron, the son of the late William and Helen Eshbaugh.
Al was a graduate of Garfield High School and was an electrical engineer. He worked and retired from Alltel/Windstream. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Debra (David) Price and Robert (Rachel) Eshbaugh; and his grandchildren, Natalie, Kailyn, Gibson, Kelsey and Lyla.
Other than his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife, the former Donna L. Sullivan, whom he married on December 7, 1968, she preceded him on April 18, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where Pastor John Knepper will celebrate Al's life.
Family and friends may visit from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the funeral home.
