Albert D. Phillips, Jr., 94, of Akron, passed away June 6, 2006. Albert retired from A. Schulman Rubber and Plastic Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sr. and Helen; wife, Geneva; brother, Howard; sister, Virginia; sons, Jimmy and Warren; son-in-law, Leroy; granddaughter, Sharon; and special sister-in-law, Imogene. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Warren (Dorcas); sister, Gertrude; daughters, Beverly and Cheryl (Keith); son, Glen (Rose); daughter-in-law, Barbara; his nephew and caregiver, Ray and Debbie; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call TODAY from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating.
