May 5, 1931 — March 28, 2023

Alberta J. Boughton, "Bertie", age 91 of Uniontown, Ohio, died on March 28, 2023.

Bertie was born on May 5, 1931 in Akron, the daughter of the late Atlee and Goldie (nee Marker) Speicher.

Our mom was formerly employed by Goodyear, was a homemaker and Avon Lady. She volunteered for the Hatton PTA, Haven of Rest Ministries; and the Ronald McDonald House with her late husband, Paul.

Everyone loved and asked for her famous homemade potato soup, especially when they weren't feeling well. Bertie enjoyed bowling, sending greeting cards and giving photos to family and friends.

Survivors include her three children, Ken Boughton, Kathy (Dan) Vargo and Scott (Nicky) Boughton; her grandchildren, Mark, Jon (Amy), Todd (Dom), Shea and Leah (Nick); and her great-grandchildren, Brianna, Zachary, Austin, Karissa and Jacob.
