Alberta M. Ginn

Alberta M. Ginn, 97, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2021. Alberta was born in Akron on September 12, 1924 to the late Jacob and Mable Bickler. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Alberta was faithful in reading her Bible every day and loved to teach her grandchildren about Jesus. She was a longtime member of Akron First Assembly of God.
In addition t her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ginn; sisters, Mildred Postal, Harriette Cladas, and Irene Hiney; brother, Donald Bickler and sister-in-law, Mary Bickler; and son-in-law, Tom Alexander.
Alberta will be dearly missed by her children, Richard (Tina) Ginn, Robert (Margaret) Ginn, and Wendy Alexander; sister, Beatrice Dill; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ginn, Farrah Alexander, and Russell (Megan) Alexander; great-grandchildren, Riley Newman, Dylan and Brayden Ritchie, Marissa Alexander, Star and Mikaela Ziemski, Tommy Joe and Alexis Ann Alexander; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved dog, Clyde.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 11-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service at Akron First Assembly of God, 1175 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313, Pastor Ryan Jarvis officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
