Alice Marie Collins

Alice Marie Collins, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2024. She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on October 26, 1938, to the late Lewis and Doris Flanagan. Alice graduated from Tallmadge High School. In 1957, she married the love of her life Denzel Collins who preceded her in death in 2010. She devoted her life to her family, friends, and church. Alice served the Lord actively by volunteering in many organizations including The Haven of Rest, Homemakers, and leading bible studies and other groups at The Chapel. She was also involved in the Red Hats Society, ABWA, and Parkinson's Group. 

Alice is survived by her children David (Patricia) Collins, Diana (William, deceased)Robinson, Denise (Michael) Mellinger; grandchildren William Robinson IV, Christina (Robert) Billings, Andy (Melinda) Hodovan, Joseph (Julia) Hodovan, Melissa (Joshua) White, Danielle (Gary) Older; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Adams; brothers Arden Flanagan, and Gary Flanagan. 

Funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10-12 prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Northlawn Memorial Garden. Donations can be made to the Haven of Rest in Alice's honor.
