Alice Marie Cutright Fields, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at her home.
She was born on January 9, 1928 in Weston, WV, the daughter of the late Herman and Bessie (nee Brown) Butcher.
Alice worked as a waitress and manager for F. W. Woolworth for many years. She enjoyed her church, Victory Baptist Temple, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir. Alice loved to bake and cook. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her only daughter, Kathryn Cappabianca; her grandchildren, Yvette (Kirk) Fleming, Troy Ritterbeck, Todd Ritterbeck and Tammy (James) McCullough; her great-grandchildren, Allen (Alexis) Rutledge, Alexandra (Kyle) McClean, Allyson Fleming, Shawna Ritterbeck, Jonah Ritterbeck, Alexis McCullough and Brandon McCullough.
Also surviving are her siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Smith, Harry (Fran) Butcher and Ina Butler; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that mourn her loss.
Other than her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her first husband, Mansel James, her second husband, Raymond Cutright, and her third husband, Rev. Forrest E. Fields; her great-granddaughter, Katelyn McCullough; her siblings, Thelma Grace Butcher, Velma Matthews, Herman "Junior" Butcher, Matthew Butcher, Rosellen Eubank and Mary Jane Gould.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
Alice will be laid to rest next to her second husband, Raymond Cutright in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio.
