Alice M. Ellesin

Alice M. Ellesin, 92, of Stow, passed away May 12, 2017. Alice was born in Akron, Ohio on November 12, 1924 to the late Lawrence and Catherine Yommer. She attended Eastwood Church of the Brethren and enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters in Christ. Alice retired from Goodrich with over 35 years of service.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond; her sons, Ronald and Donald Ellesin, and sisters, Mildred Trubey, Marie Campano, Pearl Spencer and Ann Chirium.

She will be dearly missed by her grandson, Phillip Ellesin; daughter-in-law, Diane Ellesin; special nieces, Linda (Gerald) Fuller, Joann and Tara Porter, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Alice will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 3 pm, followed by dinner at 4:30 pm at Eastwood Church of the Brethren, 581 Darrow Rd., Akron, OH 44305. Celebration of life service will begin at 7 pm, also at the church.
