Alice Joyce Schoen (nee Harper)
Alice Joyce Schoen, 77, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away June 18, 2013. She was born in Parkin, Arkansas on August 29, 1935, to the late Roy Bob and Hattie Mae Harper. For many years, Alice was a well loved and respected waitress at Firestone Country Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Vera Marie Jernigan and Sarah Leola Durr. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Joy Sigrist and Terry (Mark) Wiggins; son, Donald (Ruth) Schoen; sister, Ann Whitely; brothers, Robert (Lynn) Harper and Charles Harper; grandchildren, Megan (David) Crim, Matthew and David Wiggins, Collin, Caleb, and Leah Schoen; great-granddaughter, Stella Crim; and special niece, Linda.
There will be no showing. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held to celebrate Alice's life on June 29. If desired, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
