Alice Susan Kent, age 63, of Akron, Ohio, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at her home.
She was born on November 23, 1954 in Akron, the daughter of the late James T. and Beverly (nee Brown) Buck.
Alice was a 1973 graduate of Green High School and a graduate of KSU, where she attained a Bachelor Degree in Education.
Survivors include her husband, John H. Kent, Sr., whom she married on July 27, 1974; her two sons, John H. (Michelle) Kent, Jr. and Aaron (Crista) Kent; and her six grandchildren. Her brother Brian (Margaret "Pep") Buck also survives.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM, where Pastor Ernie Kemppel will celebrate Alice's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
