Alice Mae Nichols

Alice Mae Boggs- Nichols (Mallory), age 95, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013. She was born on February 22, 1918 in Akron, Ohio to the late Austin and Mamie Bennett. Alice worked for many years making toys for the former Britain Plastics and was an avid sports fan who loved watching and cheering for her favorite Cleveland and Ohio State teams. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to her cherished family.
Alice is survived by her children; Bonnie (late Robert) Mallory, Donald (Ann) Boggs and Dennis (Sandra) Boggs, 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Les Nichols and first husband, Carter Boggs.
Friends may call 2-7 pm on Monday, August 19, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305 where a service will follow at 7:00 pm.
