Alicia D. Jones, 61 of Akron, Ohio, passed away from a long illness on September 5, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John A. Jones and Gloria J. Jones and sisters, Angela Jones, and Adrianne Auls.
Alicia is survived by her companion, Wesley Taylor, children, Alicia (J'Saun), Chaz, and Corey, granddaughters, Camille, Carliegh, and Ny'Ree, brothers,
Anthony (Layla) Campbell, Monty (Cynthia) Jones, Aaron Jones, and sister, Ada Jones, and special nephews, Damon Jones and Jevon Jones.
She graduated from Garfield High School in 1977. She will be remembered for her laugh and her kind and generous heart.
Friends and family may come to call on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
