Alicia Renee Bowers

Alicia Renee Bowers, 60, of Akron, passed away on July 20, 2013. She was born in Akron on October 1, 1952. Alicia was a longtime member of Mogadore Baptist Church. She was an outdoor enthusiast and loved traveling and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis (Alliene) Toth and Mary (Quentin) Giants; and grandparents, Coleman and Julia Toth.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 28 years, Amburst Bowers; daughter, Felesha (Jerimiah) McAfee; sister, Annette Chapman; stepchildren, Nicole (Dan) McGrath and their children, Cole and Logan and Dan (Joanne) Bowers and their children, Maya, Clare, and Nolan; niece, Terri (George) Hooper; nephews, Ronald (Cynthia) Chapman and Daniel (Kellie) Chapman; mother-in-law, Twila Miller; other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Alicia's life will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
