Allan Ernest Beck

Allan E. Beck, Jr., age 74, went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2021, at his daughter's home.
He was born July 22, 1946, in Akron, the eldest son of Allan E. Beck and Lorraine (nee Leffler) Beck.
Allan graduated from Hoban High School. Following graduation he served the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. After the war, he attended and graduated from Akron University. Allan was a member of Riverwood Chapel, Kent Canadian Club, PLAV Post 32, American Legion Post 281 and a Woodwoorking Club. He loved to travel and spend time with loved ones. He worked for over 40 years of service for Ohio Bell/ATT.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael, Carl, Irene and Maria.
Survivors include his children, Aaron Beck and Kelly (nee Beck) Leacoma and their mother, Jan (nee Martine) Beck; six grandchildren, Ally, Auty, Shawn, Nate, Timmy and Nonna; his siblings, George Beck, Joe Beck, Carol Mann, Liz Mason, Margaret Robinson, Anne (Terry) Carmedy and Teresa (Mark) Weinberger; and many nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Riverwood Chapel, 1407 Fairchild Ave, Kent, OH 44240
