Alta Rose Yoak
January 14, 1930 — March 31, 2024
Alta Rose Yoak, 94, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024. Born in Tioga, WV to John and Esther (Miller) Jarvis, she resided in the Akron, OH area all of her adult life. Rose enjoyed gardening, reading, listening to Elvis music and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Elvus Yoak; children, Darlene Rogers, Larry Kelly. She will be sadly missed by her son, Dennis (Catherine) Kelly; grandson, Greg Kelly; brother, Roger (Delores) Jarvis; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 13 N. Canton Rd. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Rose's name to the charity of their choice.
