Amanee Rose Black, "Warrior Princess", was born on June 23, 2018 to Garrick II and Daisiree Black. She decided to enter this world on her own terms at 22 weeks and 6 days. In her very short life, Amanee enjoyed music; especially gospel music and listening to her daddy rapping to her. Amanee is a testament to God's awesome power, impacting the lives of many.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Roselynn Smith-Young. Amanee leaves to cherish her memory, loving parents, Garrick and Daisiree; grandparents, Garrick Sr. and Rhonda Black; grandfather, Larin Young; uncle, Loren Young; aunt, Lucrecia Tolbert; cousins, Gage and Chyan; and a host of other relatives who loved Amanee dearly.
A celebration of Amanee's life will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 11am at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 442 Bell St. Akron, OH 44307. Special thanks to the staff at Akron Children's Hospital NICU Floor 7 for their loving care and concern.
