Amy Beth Bowen, age 52 of Akron passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 8, 2022. A lifelong resident of Akron, Amy was born to James and Diane {Rose} Smoot Jr.
Amy was preceded in death by her beloved nephew, Cody Bondurant.
She will always be fondly remembered by her son Lucas Bowen; parents Jim and Diane; sisters Jodi Burgy and Tracy Stalnaker; niece Alyssa Stalnaker; nephews Hunter Bondurant and Adyson Penrod; Lucas' dad David Bowen; many aunts, uncles and friends.
Amy was a 1987 graduate of Ellet High School. Every spare moment was spent with her pride and joy, Lucas.
Everyone is welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Tuesday, May 17 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Per Amy's wishes, there will be no formal service. To leave a message for Amy's family, please scroll below.
