Amy Newell (nee Lewis), 44, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister passed away in the arms of God on September 19, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Her favorite hobby was cooking meals for her family and friends, and she worked at Hoban High School as a lunch lady for 5 years. Amy is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, James Newell, Jr.; children, Dylan J. Newell, and Kyra S. Newell; mother, Stephanie Lewis; father, David Lewis; sister, Christine (Andrew) Santa; grandmother, Carol McCain; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James Sr. and Mary Newell; Amy leaves many additional family and friends whom she loved and cherished as they loved her. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 24, at 11 am with the service to follow at 12 noon with a celebration of life to follow at 1 pm at New Life Episcopal Church, 13118 Church Ave. NW, Uniontown, OH, 44685 with Pastor Patricia Hanen officiating.
