Andrea D. Bokar
Andrea D. Bokar, 63, of Akron passed away May 20, 2005 after a valiant fight against cancer. She was born June 3, 1941 in Illinois to William & Elizabeth (Seib) Douglass. She was an avid traveler and sports enthusiast. Andrea was a member of the Local 420 Retirees Chapter. She worked for 10 years at McDonald's where she was affectionately known as the "Drive Thru Lady." Andrea was the former president of the Suffield Jaycee's Wife organization. She was preceded in death by her father, William Douglass. Andrea is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Douglass; husband, David E. Bokar; daughter, Beverly E. Bokar-Dreher; sons, Douglass A., Timothy W. (Tracy Testa), Edward B. (Valerie) Bokar; sister, Claudia B. Douglass; brothers, Ronald B. (Faye), David A. (Geni) Douglass; grandchildren, Ashliegh N. Dreher, Amanda L. Bokar, Anthony E. Bokar; nephew, Daniel B. Douglass; many, many friends. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. with Pastor Karla Maple and Chaplain Marvin Sparks officiating.
