Andrew Leidal

Andrew Leidal, 70, passed away November 14, 2019. Born July 4, 1949 in Dombuhl, Germany to Michael & Susan (Rohn) Leidal, he was an Akron area resident the past 67 years. Andy retired from Owens Corning and he was a U. S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed traveling, watching football, listening to rock and roll records and spending time with his sons and granddaughters.

Andy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Mary Kay; sons, Ryan (Mary Kate), Joe; granddaughters, Amelia, Claire; sister, Mary Ann Parcell; aunt, Rose; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Military honors and a memorial service will immediately follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations in Andy's name to the Gary Sinise Foundation, P.O. Box 368, Woodland Hills, CA 91635.
