Angel Luna, Jr., 30, of Akron, passed away January 1, 2006 at Akron City Hospital. He was born June 28, 1975 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Angel was a member of the George Schuelin Bowling League at the Akron Lanes on the Kridler Landscaping Team. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter. Angel was preceded in death by his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. Angel is survived by his parents, Angel & Ana Marie Luna, Sr.; fiancé, Tracy Snowberger; daughter, Gladys Ann Luna-Blasdale; sisters, Jodi (Michael) Morris and Angie Luna; brothers, Daniel (Pam) Meier; nine nieces and nephews; uncles and aunts; numerous cousins. Calling hours will be Wednesay from 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernard Church with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Following the interment, the family would like to invite all to the Orioles Club, 2166 Manchester Rd.
