Angel Luna Leon, age 57, of Akron, passed away May 9, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. Angel was born in Puerto Rico to the late Bartolo and Serafina (nee Leon) Luna on July 8, 1949. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Angel has been residing in the USA for 43 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Angel and brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ana (nee Rivera) Luna; son, Daniel Meier (Pam) and daughters, Jodi Morris (Mike) and Angela Southall; brothers, Dino (Judy), Raymond, Johnnie and Francisco Luna and his sister, Luz N. Luna; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 from 6 - 9 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 14 at St. Bernard Catholic Church at 10 AM.
