Angela Nicole Sims

Angela Nicole Sims, 38, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born June 15, 1981 in Akron, the daughter of Gary and Carrie {Wallis} Sims. Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.P. and Eleanor Sims, and grandfather Alvin Stake.
She will be deeply missed by her parents, sister Renee (William) Cole, nieces Chloe and Arianna, nephew Elijah, grandmother Dorothy Stake, and her church family.
Angela loved her dogs, especially Midnight. She loved going places, and taking long drives. Angela treated her nieces and nephew like her own, naming her stuffed dogs after them. She loved going to church, and was truly faithful, missing services only when she was in the hospital. Angela loved getting to know people, and was good with names. She had a talent for making people feel comfortable and at ease.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at NEWCOMER, AKRON CHAPEL, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home, with interment following at Hillside Memorial Park.
