Anita Louise Ross, 79, of Green, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2024. She was born in Ravenna on October 24, 1944 to the late Karl and Ruth {Wild} Brueggeman.
In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her daughter Annette Quattrocchi; grandson Michael III; sister Pat Thompson; sister-in-law Barbara Cathey; brothers-in-law Dale Long, Charlie Briggs and James Ross; daughter-in-law Patty Ross; nephew David Hensel.
On April 21, 2001, she married Michael W. Ross. He survives, along with their children Vicki (Tony) Matos, Michael Ross Jr., Rose (James) Smith, Constance Saum, Jodie Quattrocchi, Laura Krstevski and Shane (Krystin) Ross; grandchildren Chondra, Nathan, Sydney, Cammie, Allie, Alex (Gabbi), Milena, Kristine and Adam; great-grandchildren Rylee, Noah, Violet, Bryce, Hailie, Cloie and Rylie; siblings Ruth Long, Charlotte Briggs, Earl (Myrna) Brueggeman; many extended family members and friends.
Anita worked as a foreman at L.E.M. Inc. for 35 years. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, and was a member of the Art Society. She collected and restored antique dolls, and was the unofficial family historian for the Brueggeman family, and helped organize several reunions. Family was her purpose, and she loved them all dearly.
Per Anita's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anita's memory are suggested to the
