Our loving mother, Ann C. Russo, age 88, passed away on January 20, 2018, she was born on February 12, 1929.
Ann C. (nee Musci) Russo was a "North Hill Girl", born and raised. She had her own beauty shop, North Hill Beauty Salon for 29 years, and she and her husband raised their three children in Akron/Cuyahoga Falls.
Other than her parents, who preceded her in death, Paul and Bridget (nee Clemente) Musci, she was preceded in death is her husband, Robert L. Russo on April 17, 2006, they were united in marriage on January 6, 1951; her siblings, Mary Seminaroti, Frances Santoferro, Grace Marcotte, and Alfred Musci.
Survivors include her three children, Roberta A. Russo, with whom she lived, Paul M. (Kathleen) Russo of Sagamore Hills, and John P. Russo of Munroe Falls; her one pride and joy granddaughter, Ann Marie Russo of Cuyahoga Falls; one sister, Bridget Flasco of Akron and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her furried and feathered pets, Lil Bear, Piggy, and Ziggy.
Our parents made our life a wonderful time. The three of us tried to do the same for them. We love and will miss you very much. Rest in peace mom, we love you!
Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223; there will not be any calling hours, for those of you attending the Mass, please go directly to the church and not the funeral home on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in Ann's memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
