Ann W. Mann, 69, of Akron, died on February 19, 2006 at Akron City Hospital. She was born April 18, 1936 in Whites Creek, Tennessee to the late Archie & Amy (Blair) Davis. Ann retired from Thermal Engineering after15 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Davis. She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Mann of Akron; daughters, Norma Sue Mann and Carolyn Sue Clevenger both of Akron; sons, Joseph Mann, Junior Woodard, Mike Woodard all of Akron and Jerry Woodard of New York; sister, Joyce Davis of Illinois; and 3 grandchildren. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Webb officiating.
