Anna ( Barbuzza) Conley
Anna "Ann" Conley passed away peacefully at her home after a long illness on August 12th, 2023. Ann was blessed with a long, happy life. We now celebrate as her heart's desire has been fulfilled to be with her savior, Lord Jesus and reunited with her husband of 68 years Willard "Will" Conley.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband Will Conley, parents Antonio and Frances Barbuzza, brothers Carl Webb and Junior Patton, and sister Viola Sarver.
Ann is survived by three children; daughter Lynda (David) Banig, daughter Lori Conley and son Craig Conley; grandsons Christopher Conley and David (Parvinder) Banig, Jr.; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ann graduated from Ellet High School. After graduation Ann worked at Ohio Bell as a telephone operator, eventually training others to become operators.
Ann met her husband, Will on a blind date. It went well and Will asked Ann to breakfast the next morning. Ann said she couldn't go because she attended Sunday church. Will responded by saying "What time is church?" Ann eventually led Will to the Lord. This was the start of their 68 years together. They both repeatedly said how blessed their life together was. Now they will spend eternity together in heaven with Jesus. This is our Lord's promise to all who believe in him.
Ann was a wonderful wife, mother and friend to many. Her greatest joy was being a mother. Her favorite times were spent with her family. She enjoyed family dinners, baking, gardening, crocheting and there was never a dog she didn't love. She also never passed up a piece of chocolate!!
Ann was a member for many years at Ellet Grace Brethren Church, and for the past 18 years a member of The Chapel in Green. Ann enjoyed Bible studies, teaching Sunday School and visiting shut ins. Ann had a strong faith and her favorite hymn was " How Great Thou Art". She is probably singing this at the feet of our Lord Jesus today.
The family wishes to thank The Chapel in Green Care, Pastor Brett Faris, and the many visitors from the church. Also, thank you to The Chapel Card Ministry for the many cards sent to Ann.
Our deepest gratitude and appreciation are extended to Summa Hospice for their superb care and kindness shown to Ann during her illness. You are all wonderful caring people.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made in Ann's name to Haven of Rest Ministries. To leave a special message for Anna's family, please visit the guestbook below.
