Anna "Cathy" Robinson, 78, of Brimfield, passed away on June 27, 2017 with her family by her side.
She was born in Tell City, Indiana on May 15, 1939 to the late Charles Faulkenburg and Doris Kemmer. She retired from Kent State University after 30 years of service. Cathy enjoyed nature and had a special love for birds and her flower gardens. She also loved shopping on QVC and cooking. Cathy always said she lived for her children and grandchildren and she loved spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William; sons, Michael, Billy, and Louis "Butch"; grandson, T.R.E.L. Zawko; brother, Charles; and Jody Boal. She will be deeply missed by her children, Mary Quinn, Donna Sarno, Debbie Bernadine, Bonnie (Steve) Anderson, Dottie (Mark) Kessler, and Nancy Bernadine; longtime partner, Kenny Boal and his children, Linda, Jane, and Ken; sisters, Diane "Jean" (Gregory) Walker, Myrtle (Dick) Postlethwaite, and Rosemary Tell; grandchildren, Jessica, Shane, Ryan, Brandie, Natalie, Brandon, Crystal, Ashley, Stevie, DeAnna, Zion, Billy, Thomas, and Tony; 15 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Care Center where she spent her final days c/o Akron General Foundation/Cleveland Clinic Akron General, 1 Akron General Ave, Akron, OH 44307-2432.
