Anna Stuemke
Anna Stuemke, 84, formerly of Akron, passed away July 9, 2006 at Baptist Convalescence Center in Newport, Kentucky. She was born February 7, 1922 in Alfratz, Romania to the late Anthony & Katherine (Nagy) Schreiner. Anna was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. She loved to play euchre in her free time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Stuemke; son, Herman Stuemke; brother, Richard Schreiner; step-brothers, Steve, Rudy, Carl and Julius Huber; cousin, Herman Stuemke. She is survived by her daughter, Monica Payne; grandchildren, Brett Morehouse, Kathy Stuemke and Christine Stuemke; 4 great-grandchildren; nephew, Julius Huber. A memorial mass will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at the corner of East Voris and Grant St. Inurnment of cremated remains will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Cemetery.
