Anne Scott (nee Fuhrman) "Babe", 94, of Suffield Township, passed away in the home of her daughter/caregiver, Nancy Weaver and son-in-law, Ken Weaver, on Sunday morning, January 2nd. Her three sons, Roger (Barb), Ken (Linda) and Richard (Connie) Scott and daughter, Nancy were blessed to have a loving and devoted mom to care for them and their families. Anne will be remembered dearly as a caring and dedicated mom, grandma, and oma to her great-grandkids. She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 13th, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, and four sisters, Elsie Leffler, Mary Adams, Mildred Buckmaster, Gertrude Keener and brother, Bill Fuhrman. Anne was a homemaker and took pride in her children. Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren will all fondly remember their grandma and oma. She was a dog lover her entire life and enjoyed caring for her poodles and Pomeranians. She was the baby in the family and thus had the nickname of "Babe". The family enjoyed many summers on Lake Erie when Anne purchased a boat for her kids and grandkids which was aptly named "The Babe". Cremation has taken place and a private time of remembrance will occur in the near future for the immediate family.
