Anne E. Fassnacht

Anne E. Fassnacht, 44, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Anne grew up in Silver Lake, Ohio. She was a 1985 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High, and a 1987 graduate of Hamel College. Anne held various positions with Uarco, Standard Register and Prime Business Solutions (the Ampersand Group). Anne's greatest joy was being a mother of three great children who she adored. She and husband Stephen E. Fassnacht have been a part of the Ellet community for the past 20 years. Anne was a bright light who lit up any room with an infectious spirit and a quick wit. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially those within the Ellet area.

Anne is reunited in death with her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Madigan. She is survived by husband Stephen, son Stephen and daughters Emily and Shannon. In addition she leaves behind sisters Jacqueline (William) Callihan of Wytheville, VA, Susan Madigan of Silver Lake, OH, and Margaret (Douglas) Knoyer of Munroe Falls, OH. She is also survived by brothers Michael (Lori) Madigan of Sagamore Hills, OH and John (Dodie) Madigan of Silver Lake, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Anne had one of the biggest hearts a person could have, and will be missed by all that knew her. A special thanks to the Ellet community who have given so much through this difficult time and have been a great asset throughout her ordeal.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 16 from 4-8 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Friday, February 17 at 1PM with Pastor Jonathan Carey officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Stephen Fassnacht Benevolent Fund, First Merit Bank, 2430 Wedgewood Dr. Akron.
