Anne Marie Eckenrode, age 68, of Akron, Ohio, died on December 8, 2021 at her home.
She was born on October 16, 1953 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Suzanne (nee Miller) Cochran.
Anne was an LPN for Akron Childrens Hospital for many years. She enjoyed the beach and hanging out with her family and friends. Anne loved the holidays especially, Christmas.
Anne is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, James Eckenrode, whom she married on July 19, 1975; her children, Matthew Eckenrode, Michael (Juliette) Eckenrode and Nicole Moyer; her grandchildren, Rachel, Stephanie, Michael, Jordan, Makayla, Kourtney and Skyla.
Her five brothers also survive, Thomas (Peggy), Geary (Shelly), James, David and Robert (Annette) Cochran and all of their families.
Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio.
