Anne L. Glynn, 94, passed away January 18, 2014. She was born May 20, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Ernest and Hazel Hayes. Anne was a longtime, faithful member of Grace Baptist Church. For many years she volunteered with Don Plusquellic's mayoral campaigns and worked at various polling stations.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Glynn; brother, Jack Kline; and sisters, Betty Saile and Peggy Doolittle. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Debra Leeson and Rebecca Walker; brother, Roger Kline; grandchildren, Nicholas (Cassandra) Smith, Tabetha (John) Kridler, Darcy (Greg) Herendeen, Denise (Richard) Matevich, Eric Emerson; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, January 22 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
