Anne Marie Quine, 73, passed away on February 2, 2023 after a short illness. Anne was born on May 10, 1949 the daughter of the late Francis and Helen Quine. She grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Poland High School. She worked with Summit DD for over 30 years. She was pictured on their mission statement and even adorned one of their Billboards. She helped in child care, glazed pottery for Weaver Ceramics and was so proud of her daily tally sheet for her piece work. She was easily spotted in many scenario with her sport hats, earrings, socks, shoes and jerseys. She attended Weaver Workshop Maps, Windfall Industries Coventry, Barberton & Southern Workshops. She was currently attending REC Day Care which she dearly loved. Her hobbies were Wheel Of Fortune, Elvis, Wizard of Oz, Charlie Brown, porcelain dolls, Cleveland Indians & Browns, word searches, making homemade cards and enjoyed audio books & DVD's from the library.
She is survived by her sister and care giver for 19 years, Ellen Hill; brothers Tom Quine and John Quine in addition to many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Frank Quine and William Quine.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (February 21st) from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where Memorial Services will be held at 12:00pm with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers of flowers memorial donations may be made to Summit DD (2355 2nd St., Cuy. Falls, OH 44221) and/or Parkinson's Foundation (200 SE 1st St Ste800., Miami, FL 33131)
