Anthony Edward Lorkowski

Anthony Edward Lorkowski, 79, of Akron, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on November 23, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1943 to the late Max and Sophie {Matyjasic} Lorkowski.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his son Ted, grandson Matthew and brothers Max, Ted and Jim.

On March 22, 1968 he married Judy {Duncan} Lorkowski. She survives, along with their children Mike, Gerry, Greg, Theresa (Tom), Toni (Randy), "Our Boy" Michael; grandchildren Megan (Nick), Randy and Rayne; great-grandchildren Mason, Walker, Remi, Montana and Kole; brother John; sisters Marcy, Cecilia and Mary; beloved chihuahua Max and shih-tzu Sophie; several extended family members.

Anthony was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He began his 41-year career with Kenmore Construction, retiring as a foreman in 2005. In his free time, he loved visiting his property in southern Ohio, and going to the beach, especially at Treasure Island.

All are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Saturday, December 9th from 1:00 p.m. until the memorial service begins at 3:00 p.m. with well-deserved military honors.
