Anthony C. Spitaleri, Sr.
Anthony C. Spitaleri, Sr., 80, passed away Friday, June 10,2005 at Hospice of Visiting Nurse Center in Copley Twp. He was an Army Veteran and M.P. He retired from Metro Regional Transit Athority as a bus driver. He was born in Akron to the late Nunizito and Mary (Carusso) Spitaleri. Preceded in death by his sisters, Anna, Nancy, Lena, Josephine, and his brother, Bill. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Billie (Smith); daughter Dannielle (Gary) of Akron; son Jeffery of North Canton; and 3 estranged children, a very special niece Delores ( Jerry) of Barberton, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call TODAY(Monday) from 5 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Deacon Dennis officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
