Anthony Dale Thompson "Tony" "Thumper", 58, of Tallmadge, passed away on September 6, 2019.
Tony was born in Akron on March 4, 1961 to the late Robert and Dorothy Thompson.
He graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1979. He was employed in the IT Department at Carter Lumber for over 10 years. Tony loved music and attending concerts. He had many friends who knew him as "Thumper" and enjoyed keeping in touch with them on Facebook.
Tony will be dearly missed by his brother, Timothy Thompson; aunt Carol Larkins; uncles, James Foster and Bobby Foster; niece, Kelly (Paul) Thornton; great-nephews, Aaron, Brendan, Dylan, Chris, and Hayden; longtime girlfriend, Annie Godard; many cousins including special cousin, Greg; and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 P.M. with visitation for two hours prior. Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
