Anthony James Zushin, age 27 of Akron, Ohio died unexpectedly on May 29, 2023.
He was born on August 31, 1995 in Akron, the son of Valerie Zushin, with whom he lived.
Anthony was a graduate of Ellet High School, class of 2015. He was owner/operator of Meraki Automotive in Akron, he put all of himself into his work. He had a love of cars and creativity.
Anthony didn't know a stranger, and everyone he came in contact with was a friend. He would help anyone. He was personable and had a great deal of charisma, a unique magnetic soul with a great sense of humor. To know him was to know intense love, especially through his bear hugs.
He was a story teller, and often told the story of the Chinese farmer. He would always try to leave a person better than when he met them.
Anthony had a great love for animals, especially his main coon cat, Sig, aka Danger Cloud!
In addition to his mother, survivors include his twin sister, Rachael Zushin; his half brothers, Colin Rankin and Zachary Sampson; his grandmother, Rita (nee Richardson) Zushin; his aunt and uncles, Natalie (Mark) Carmack, Bob Zushin and Stephan Zushin; and his cousins, Jennifer Zushin, Ritamarie and Samantha Carmack and a host of other loving family and friends, especially his brothers of the heart, Darian Arnold and Caleb Rankin.
His grandfather, James Zushin, preceded him in death.

The Funeral Mass will be private at St. Bernard Catholic Church and Anthony will be buried near his grandfather at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
