Antionette Taylor nee Buchanan, 68, passed away on July 17, 2024.
She was born on October 24, 1955 to the late Louise Buchanan nee McGhee and George Buchanan, Sr.
Born in Ft. Benning, Georgia, Antionette moved to Akron, Ohio with her Mother and sibling(s) at around the age of three or four. She lived in Akron, Ohio for several years where she attended Jennings Middle School and North High School. She later moved to San Francisco, California.
Antionette was a vivacious woman and loved people. She was fun to be around and liked to have a good time with friends and family. She loved the Lord Jesus and was saved.
In addition to her parents, Antionette was preceded in death by her son Christopher Bryant Taylor, daughter Marqweeta Buchanan Hogan Star and brother Dr. George Buchanan, Jr.
Antionette leaves to cherish her memory daughter Nichol L. Virden; grandson Denzel D. Washington; sisters Hazel Brooks, Debora Buchanan, First Lady Toni Buchanan-Grayson (Rev. Dr. Don Grayson, Sr.); brothers Jesse B. Buchanan, Tony Foster; sister-in-law Felor Buchanan; son-in-love Randy Virden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon. Memorial service begins at 12:00 noon with Minister Tony Virden officiating.
No interment following memorial service.
