April Lynn Currey

April Lynn Currey, 50, of Atwater passed away suddenly Sunday morning October 3, 2021 in her home. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. April loved the great outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing. April also loved animals of any shape and size.

She was born to parents Terry and Brenda Krauss, June 14, 1971. After graduating from Field High School, she married and had two sons, Ron and Brad. April worked for the family drywall business for 35 years. Always a people person, April could make a friend anywhere she went.

April is survived by her two sons Ron (Leeann) and Brad (Jordan) Currey. Her mother and father Brenda and Terry Krauss. Her brother Terry "Joe" Krauss and extended family.

Services will be held at Deerfield Friends Church Saturday October 9, 2021. Calling hours will be held from 10am-1pm with the funeral service beginning at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the April Currey Memorial Fund being established at Hometown Bank, PO Box 310, Kent, OH 44240.
