April L. Mims

April L. Mims, 42 , passed away December 13, 2020 with her family by her side. Born in Barberton, Ohio she was a lifelong resident of the area. She attended Central Hower High School and greatly enjoyed playing bingo, card and board games. April also loved spending time with her grandkids and family.

Preceded in death by baby sister, Sherry, she will be sadly missed by her husband, Terrelle; children, Jasmine, Terrell Jr.; 7 grandchildren; parents, Mike (Trillah) Baker; Tina (Bud) Copley; brother Jason (Dawn); step brothers Michael Myers, Derek Myers (Kelly), Jimmy Copley; step sister, Amber Hernandez, aunt, Debra Baker; mother in-law, June (Larry) Christian; special sissy, Keyanna (Michael) Ellis; brothers in-law, Jamar Christian, Shannon Christian, Larry Christian Jr.; nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be no formal services. Her family will have a private memorial at a later date. Those who wish may offer support for Terrelle's temporary financial needs, as he has been April's constant caregiver for years. Contact Michael Baker or June Christian for details.
