Arlene J. Wood

Arlene J. Wood, 83, went to her eternal rest on April 10, 2018. She was born on December 22, 1934 to Herman J. and Verna A. Bumgarner in Altoona, PA. Arlene was an active woman who loved reading, watching Animal Planet, elephants and her companion cat, Charlie. She was an accomplished accountant having worked for Atari in California at their conception and Mobile Meals of Akron.

Those surviving to cherish her memory are 6 children; James (Wendy), John Patrick, Carol Jo (Danny) Murphy, Donald (Debbie), Mary Ann (Doug) Busby, George Stafford, and daughter in-law, Katherine Stafford; brother, Herman J. Bumgarner Jr; sisters, Mary Carol (Larry) Wilson and Kathy Jo Garland; grandchildren, Crystal Dolly, Deanna Beasley, Dwan Saunders-White, Dustin (Angie) Stafford, Theresa Stafford and Kim Dolly; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. At the request of Arlene, there will be no calling hours or services.
