Arlie L. Higgins

Arlie L. Higgins, age 77, of Akron, passed away on November 29, 2024 at home with his family by his side. He was born on December 1, 1946 to the late Clifford and Uneda Higgins in Millcreek, WV. Arlie loves coffee, working on cars, fishing, hiking, camping, playing Pac Man, family cookouts and watching tv. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Joyce; and one sister, Jenny Kay.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Pam Higgins, Sandy Higgins, Elwood, Tina (Billy) and Tammy; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Hazel Lloyd, Barbara (Doug) Grey, Bert (James) Tomey, Denny Martin and Virgil Higgins; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. 

The family would like to thank the doctor and nurses from Elara Caring Hospice for their loving care of our dad. 

Per Arlie's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be having a Celebration of his Life January 25, 2025 from noon to 4pm at 59 Holcomb Avenue, Mogadore, OH 44260.
