AROLDO J. LANARI
Aroldo J. Lanari, 73, of Kent, passed away September 25, 2001 after a brief illness. He was born April 28, 1928 to the late Amedio & Marina Lanari. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in both WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Lanari played football in high school and while in the Army. He was a member of Kent V.F.W. # 3703, Kent American Legion # 496, Ravenna Moose Lodge #1234, Akron Eagle's #555 and the Civitan Club of Barberton. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Lanari; son John (Rusti) Lanari; step-son Kenneth Swiger; step-daughter Vicki (John) Tabaka; sister Olga Rogers; brothers Enzo (Iris), Deno (Joyce); grandson Reed Lanari; granddaughters Alissa (Dave) Zimmerman, Selena Wyman, Cori and Morgan Clutter, Kim Moore; sisters-in-law Betty Ellis, Pat (Jim) Walters, Ethel (Bud) Park; brothers-in-law Finis Buck, Ed (Laurie) Litz, Jack (Jenny) Litz; many nieces, nephews and special friends. Friends may call Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Standing Rock Cemetery.
