Arthur L. Arnold (Bud)
Arthur L. Arnold (Bud), 80, of Akron, was called Home to the Lord on January 13, 2008. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Bud's great joys in life were fishing, gardening, and telling old war stories. He had many friends and family who loved him very much and will be forever missed. We love you "Poppy" - Love, all the people whose lives you touched. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Inez Arnold; son, Gary Arnold; and great-grandchildren, London and Katherine. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Wanda; children, Randi (Jim) Hoover, Debbie Arnold, Buddy (Lois) Arnold, Bobby (Desi) Arnold, and Tommy (Pam) Arnold; grandchildren, Jamie (Dave), Mendy, Stevi, Ricky (Andrea), Bobby, Melissa (Harry), Tiffany, Misty, Shane, Shauna, and Adam (Dwyn); and great-grandchildren, Cody, Connor, Jade, Chase, Maddy, Roo, Logan, Mason, MaKena, Ricki, Billie, Sebastian, Travis, and Noah. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park with military honors provided by Mogadore VFW 8487.
