Arthur Bovard

Arthur L. Bovard, 78, passed away into the arms of his Lord Jesus Christ on February 1, 2007. He was a member of Grace Bible Church. Art served his country in the Merchant Marines and the US Army. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Shields. Art is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rose; daughter, Barbara Keefe and grandchildren Terresa, Anthony, and Casey; daughter, Mary Smith and granddaughter, Amanda; son, Ralph (Tari) Tierney and grandchildren, Stephen, USN, Allison (Mike), Evan, Shawn, Megan, and Morgan; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, 5781, Manchester Rd., with Pastor Jerry Harpool officiating. Interment on Monday at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore, with military honors provided by Mogadore VFW Post 8487. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Bible Church.
