Arthur E. "Moose" Coughenour, 84, of Atwater, passed away at his home on September 11, 2023. He was born in Jeannette, PA on January 12, 1939 to the late Arthur M. Coughenour and Eva {Corbiser} Dorran.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his son-in-law Rob Harris.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of nearly 53 years, Cathy; daughters Teresa Harris, Tara Cheuvront and Tonya (Roger) Boyes; grandchildren Brittany (Kevin) Bittner, Samantha Cheuvront, Megan (Zach) Cunningham, Courtney (Matt) Whiteley, Thomas Boyes, Colton Cheuvront and Aidan Boyes; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Fran (Ken) Macleod; brother Michael (Gail) Coughenour.
After graduating from St. Cashmere High School in Detroit, and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He retired from Chrysler Corporation, where he worked as an electrician, after 32 years of service.
