Arthur S. Knowles

Arthur S. "Duffy" Knowles, 77, passed away January 6, 2023 with his family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Arthur and Marcene (Baragry) Knowles, he was a lifelong area resident. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and for many years he worked at General Tire & Rubber Company. Duffy enjoyed NASCAR, his Corvettes, his dogs and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lorie Narney; step-son, Michael Urdiales. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Rose; children, Brodie (Lisa), Staci Wood; step-son, Dario (Melissa) Urdiales; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Sandi (Cliff) Arnold, Janet (Chuck) Shuman, Onie Yovanovich, Doug (Jill) Knowles, Debbie (Dennis) Getz; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Duffy's family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Duffy's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
