Arthur M. Eplin, 76, of Akron, passed away July 7, 2012. He was born in Boone County, West Virginia on June 27, 1936 to the late Ira and Ruby Eplin.
He retired from BF Goodrich Research Center after 36 years of service and was a member of Ellet Community Church of God. In his free time, Art loved golfing.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Harley, Bob, Jay, Clayton, and Clem; and sister, Elsie. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Emma Jo; sons, Mark and Matthew (Carlene); sister, Viola (Harold) Totten; grandchildren, Carissa and Christian; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday July 10 from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Snyder officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ellet Community Church of God, 2700 Priscilla Ave, Akron, OH 44312.
